blinking R. diff light

always did this when cold and started moving in reverse before forward. today it started blinking when letting off the throttle and when getting back on the throttle. recently drained and refilled with Motul. never stays on. just blinks not fully lit up but dim. usually goes away after about a mile of driving, today started about 10 miles into my ride and continued to some extent the remaining 15 miles.

Check the connection at the sensor and see if its connected properly and hasn't gotten wet in it. Add some dielectric grease.
