so after the last garage day i was thinking(after imput from a few of you)

or Replacing the cracked bumper cover with a RS bumper cover.

I know that i will need new foglights but other than that it will fit and use the same hardware right?

-2- i was also thinking of removing the bumper and drilling some holes/cutting to make it lighter.

(not a full delete) Am i crazy?i know its like 80+lbs figure mabey take out 10-20 lbs....

just getting info/imput at this point.... i am more sure about the rs bumper cover swap..they cost the same $....

ck w/ rallyxi, he has a set of gen-u-wine STi lightweight bumper beams off our wrecked pro rally car

saves probly 50 lbs for front and rear bumper conversions. use old bumper beams as boat anchors

RS bumper skin fits earlier Imps fine, you may need to rewire turn signals but that's not rocket science. mount Hella 500 fogs or driving lites (cheap cheap at VIP) in RS fog recesses, check out http://www.rallylights.com for details on this and bolt-on brackets for H500 lites

don't drill things out, pointless

Although the lightweight bumper beams(they can't be called beams), are nice, I would NOT recommend them for street use because they don't provide ANY crash protection. That said, they will work if you're able to get some.

Cheers! John
