Endlink advice?

Right now i am stocking piling suspension parts to throw on this spring. So far I have whiteline F & R adjustable sway bars and ralli tek rear endlinks. Should I go for front adjustable endlinks? Yes, no, maybe? At the moment I am being cheep and leaning towards just buying front ralli tek ones. If anything I want this setup to be overkill for this car.

For the STI?

Kartboy makes kickass 'links.

Get them at Evergreen, it's cheaper than the web w/ the MS discount.

Call & make sure they have them first, they're

have had quite good luck with the Whiteline standard endlinks. they have very stout bushings and seem resistant to developing klunks down the road a ways.

adjustable links are admittedly sexay but often introduce extra parts that are prone to Murphy's Law.

This is for the 2008 impreza 2.5i, I know its kind of pointless to be putting money into this car but I blame synamptic 3 for the combination of a gift card i won at the cookout and giving me the wrong sway bar that I would have been stupid to return it because it only cost me 70 bucks instead of 210.

I wanted to do whiteline, but I thought they only did adjustable ones?

I love my Kartboy endlinks. Like Nate said, they are very beefy, and you definitely notice them.

hmm in that case I might buy the package front and rear and sell what I have on the back. At the very least it will make the rear sway sell better......

I am running STI upgraded bars at this point. I noticed a HUGE difference in decreased body roll by going to the "bigger then factory" bars. But those bars are not really big enough to overpower your factory (tiny) endlinks. I put the Kartboys on recently, and noticed a little more stiffness, but it was more in preparation for a much bigger bar setup come spring. With the larger links in place, they will really shine with larger bars.

Case in point: Spoke with a fella that had a front and rear adjustable BIG bars on his turbo swapped STI. But for a couple weeks he ran them on factory endlinks till another paycheck allowed for link purchase. He ran the bars adjusted to full stiff, and liked the way the car felt. Once he got the new beefy end links, he tossed them on and left the bars set to full stiff. He said his first ride he almost took the car off into the woods. WAY too stiff. Haha. He ended up taking the bars down a notch in the front, and down to full soft in the rear. Just goes to show you that with bigger bars, the endlinks now become the weakest link (pun intended). I think its not a bad idea to change them, the Subaru once are known to go after some hard driving, and cost more to replace then Kartboys. But do I think its needed for STI bars. NOPE! If you're planning on getting bigger bars. DEFINITELY get them.

My WRX sways/'links were replaced about 5 weeks ago. It made a HUGE difference, I'm sure on the 2.5 it will be profound.

Anyone have any issues with the Rallitek Sways? What about thier endlinks? I have had my eye on the street spec package w/ HD endlinks for a while now. Whole package is $419 before shipping. Comes with a 22mm Solid Forged bar for front and 19mm solid forged bar for ther rear with urethane bushings and front and rear urethane HD endlinks. They are out of stock right now.

I purchased the Rallitek street spec kit and installed them with some Swift springs and have had no issues. I purchased my kit thru Subimods to support our vendors.

I cant complain about the Rallitek rears I have. Though they havnt gone through a winter yet. I think I am going to go with rallitek fronts just because I dont think I am going to be tossing the car around that much that really beefy endlinks are neededs + I have to take it easy on the car until I have better struts and springs anyways. (I have a plan with STI BC BR coilover's) Last thing I want to do it blow a good suspension.
