Front bearing dust cap saga

After putting my winter wheels on, I see that the axle nuts are exposed. Six dust caps later I find one that fits over the axle. I just had to put some dimples into it to make it tighter. If any of you want to cover your wheel bearings I'll post the NAPA part number. can't do it now cause it's not with me. savoo

there is no wheel bearing behind that nut just a splined hub which the wheel bearing is behind that so there is no need for the caps

besides that, there is nothing behind that axle nut that really NEEDs dust/rust/grunge protection so there's one less worry for ya.

One of the NER rallycross guys shoves tennis balls where the center caps used to be on his wheels, heh.

might keep the axle nut a little cleaner. be a little less of a pain to remove

I put a coating of anti-sieze on my transaxle splines before putting them back in the hub whenever I have them out. they always come out like butta!
