What should I have to look out for if Im putting a 98 2.2 into a 95? What ECU should I run? And all that good stuff? Im hoping to get the sube rally beater back on the road in 2 weeks.. I got a 2.2 lined up for dirt cheap.

That and will a 98 OBS fenders and doors fit on my 95 L?

yes on the fenders and doors. Wiring may not match up for the windows and locks. Otherwise you'll be fine

Does the 95 already have a 2.2? If not, I have no idea. I can't imagine it is that much. I swapped in an '01 2.5 and the wiring was minimal......

MAF vs MAP on intake, with related connex

check connex for the folowing sensors:

crank posiition

cam position

throttle position

idle air control

injectors

oil press sender

coolant temp sender

main connector to chassis wiring/ECU bundle

various vac lines -- this is often source of drivability probs post-swap

fuel breather/vent lines

the swap you are taling about SHOULD be pretty straightforward...unless is isn't

be prepared for CEL illumination, consider euthanizing the CEL
