Inspiron E1505 $300

Chris

YARRR SUBY MONSTER!!
I have a DELL Inspiron E1505 for sale.

The specs are as follows:

CPU: 1.73GHz core duo

RAM: 2GB DDR2

GPU: ATI Mobility Radeon X1300

HDD: 160GB

Screen: glossy, 1280x800. It's 15"

It runs a legal copy of Vista, the original system it came with from DELL.

The bad, it's a bit scratched up and beat up, but everything works fine.

When I got it, the disk drive was bad and I replaced it with one that does not burn DVDs. But it does burn CD-RW and reads DVDs. It can be easily upgraded.

Right now it does not have a battery, but if you are serious about buying this laptop I'll purchase a battery and that is included in the price I'm asking. So it'll come with a brand new battery!

That's all I can think of now, post any questions you may have.

Feel free to make an offer, the worst that can happen is I refuse. I'll also trade it for cool subaru stuff if you have anything that'll bolt up to my 96 legacy or 89 GL. Rather have cash though... I want some delta torque grind cams...

Thanks for looking

Awesome laptop!! Somebody should buy this. It's a great laptop for a great price

It isn't to old. Somewhere around 2005 - 2006 maybe. I have all the specs listed above, but in terms of comparison with a newer machine. It does pretty well. It was never a top of the line laptop, and wasn't designed as such. By today's standards it comes in the lower middle of a middle of the line.

This isn't for you if you want to do intensive gaming, high end HD video editing, or drafting out 84 story buildings. But for doing the normal every day tasks most people use computers for, it's perfectly fine.

Ya, though I wouldn't be looking for a gaming computer, my needs are something beyond the "drafting out 84 story buildings"

Well, it wouldn't nessarily be used for arch. drafting, though I do some subcontracting work for an archetectural firm, in theory it would be used for 3d modeling, CAM programming and visual simulation and verification. All of which tend to suck up resources.

It would be fine for small 2D stuff, but ya, I wouldn't recommend it for 3D work.
