Location for satellite antenna

Hello all.  I am replacing the radio on my WRX hatch and putting in a Sirius satellite.  Where is the best location for the antenna?  Should I route it out the hatch and put it near the radio antenna or out the front and just above the center of the windshield?

i had a friend who had a sirius in her pt cruiser, the antenna was routed through the vehicle, under the moulding for the door sill, and behind the back seat, then ran up under the interior moulding for the back and then slipped through the weather stripping (where it came back together) and then sat about 5-8 inches from the opening.

my buddy has i think an xm radio antenna in his wrx somewhere, im meeting up with him on saturday to do some struts, ill see how his antenna was run.

Mount it wherever it can get the best line of sight to the entire sky. Make sure the cable isn't routed to something that flexes a bunch (hatch or trunk lid), unless you account for that flex with your install.
