As an update to this please remember that, if you plan on running for the championship you must:
1. Be an SCCA member, and by a certain point of the year ( no joining in November because you may win something).
2. Have worked in some position other than corner worker. THIS MEANS ASSISTING WITH TIMING, COURSE DESIGN, REGISTRATION, SAFETY STEWARD, MORNING TIMING SET UP, TEAR DOWN AFTER EVENT, TECH. (If there is a question whether or not you have met the requirements, email me offline) If you have not met one of these criteria you have one event left to make it up.
3. A minimum number of events must be attended.
I will be reviewing the championship standings in the next week or so. I will be verifying membership status and I checking my memory banks to recall who worked what positions to see if you have met the above.
