Hi everyone,
I just moved to the Portland Area from Sonoma, California with my girlfriend less than a week ago and picked up a 1999 2.5RS with an EJ257 shortblock for $3500. Haven't even registered it yet because I'm staying with a friend, but I would like to turbo the car, so I am looking at options for turbo kits, or possibly just full go Full EJ257. Also looking to throw in a nice rear LSD or maybe even weld the open diff in it. In California I was big into the drift scene and had an s13 240sx with sr20det swap I smashed around with for a while but sold when I moved. Once I find a permanent residence I'll have my track/summer car 2002 M3 shipped out here from California. I'll be sad having to garage it for the winter, but I would hate to have any rust on it, so I plan to just drive the subaru in the the winter. Here's a couple pics of the 2.5rs I picked up.
