o2 sensor replacement question (Front)

Hi all. 1999 Legacy L wagon 2.2 Cali emissions

I am wondering how much of a pain it is to install the universal o2 sensor (Front) (Cali Emissions) instead of the OEM one. Its like $50 cheaper! I've never changed one, I believe a friend is going to do it for me. I dont want to create a pain in the butt for him by getting the cheaper one, but if its all the same, I might as well save the $50!

Thoughts?

Thanks!

Get the oem sensor. On the universals you have to cut off the connector and wire that back into the new sensor. It's not worth the minimal about you'll save and aggregation down the road when it fails.

Thanks for the heads up, Tyler! I wonder how much damage I am doing by not replacing it for another week or 2?
