outback exhaust

hey guys, i havn't been on here in a long time.  My roomate has a 97 outback wagon 2.5 dual over.  His exhaust has rotted out and he wants to put a nice exhaust on there that doesn't sound to loud but has a slight grumble, plus napa exhausts are garbage and wil rot out in a year.  Anyway just wondering what cars are identical set up,  i can weld and fabricate if necesary but would be nice to just bolt on.  Head back, any help would be appreciated!

For the big bad rumble you need some unequal legnth headers. Personally, id find a stock exhaust to replace the rotted one. No need or sense to go with a bigger diameter pipe if he wants it quieter.
