Where are you located? At 240k I don't think its been done recently at all. This works for diffs too right?

Located near augusta, me. This is the manual transmission fluid and differential fluid that subaru uses

How much does the transmission hold?

for the 08+ we need around 5 qts for the rear diff and transmission. some say that only 3.5 qts comes out of the tranny, getting it all out is impossible with standard draining.

Mine is the older 1997 5 speed. I could not find the capacity in my service manual ??? If anyone knows that would be great
