A colleague is shopping for a used Golf. What are some of the better-regarded VW specialists in Maine where she doesn't have to wade thru typical silliness from a VW dealer?

They have used cars for sale typically. But they don't have a ton. I would suggest them for service based on their reputation.

"Crawfords" in Hampden sells VW's mostly, Chip has been there since air cooled days has very loyal customers, and usually is stiff competition for our silliness in Bangor. I never have bought from him personally but know he usually has nice looking stuff and usually his price reflects that.
