... Not as good as I'd hoped, I have to do a few things to make for better on-road video.
1) Mount the camera in such a way that I can see if the f'ing thing is ON or not!
(GoPro fails in this regard, the camera's "power on" light (and control buttons!) are on the front of the #@%*!! camera-go figure!!)
2) Pre-stage (to a degree) specific highway pulls via walkie, so better shots can be had.
(Perhaps hand-held by the passenger, on occasion.)
Being in the front of the pack, with the camera aimed backwards off the rear window, with a dozen cars pulling past, would be a great shot...
I thought I'd shot at least half a dozen videos, and I thought one was at least twenty minutes long.
Didn't happen.
Dammit.
Oh well, it is what it Is, and next time I'll get mo', bettah' shots....
(I just bought a new Nikon D5000, it shoots 5 minute 720p HD fixed-focus-point video, perhaps we can mess with that as well next time!)
