You know, Couldn't find that many car pics with that color combo but I did see a white, and I must say white/orange looks pretty hot too! Just saying... check it out --> http://forums.nasioc....php?p=24668115

Wow. That's going to really pop on the blue. Nice work!!!
Yup! That's why i did it!

Life's short! Why not right!?

I was toying with the idea of putting more orange accents on the car but I can't figure out where would look good without being to gaudy/cheesy. Mirrors or door handles i don't think would look good. Maybe the bumper side vents but I'd need to photoshop it to see what it wld look like... Oh well, maybe next year but this time with some '04 sti bbs rims if i can find some!!

Just dipped the cap by gently pressing the can so that it bubbled out in a more liquidy form that I spread using my fingers. Used credit card swiped over the lettering to get most of the dip off but keeping the letter grooves full. After it dries, the dip kinda sinks in so you'll need more than 1 coat to fill them up. I only did 2 coats though. I would suggest using a knife or similar blunt object to get a clean cut off the lettering. Using nails was more messy.

wheels going on this weekend, i'll post full pics then.

AND for whomever wants to use platidip for their rims (other than black color), avoid yourself a headache and minimize platidip on the tire rubber as much as possible. Trust me, unless you lay it thick, its more of a pain to take off as everybody claims!

Well, here we go.

Forgot to take the before pics, but ya'll know how they look.

I like the color, but seeing a 16" instead of the 17" is kinda weird and the gap is now huge! lol

It'll do for the winter though!

On 93 gas - Currently, red curve: Hp247 / Tq284

With an intake box, looking to make the 'green' curve: Hp274 / Tq306... and that should be plenty for a while!

Thanks.

Matt: Pics not worthy. Will get more once snow actually starts!

2 coats of Collinite 845 back in Oct as my winter prep. I just keep it up with ONR when the weather permits. I'll occasionally switch it up with IUDJ every now and then... I must say that since the car sits out and I live on 1.5 mile dirt road, weekly ONR's are out of the question! Just aint' worth it.
