Well, I pay attention to my gas mileages. I haven't been super rough on my car, but I have been driving as I ussually do. I ussually get about 22.6 mpg, now I get 21.6 or 21.3. But as good as the car sounds, I will keep it.
Mobil 1 5w-30 Synthetic High Mileage Oil???

Amsoil ftw! I actually sent in a few samples on my 09 wrx to blackstone and they said the oil was perfect for that motor.
I plan on sending in a sample from the sti one I put 3k on it.

I've been using Amsoil with no usage and test show good engines. MY08Fozzy and 06 Impreza. Testing is showing the oil has sheared down in weight a little but still in the safe range. I'm now going to try the Subaru Synthetic then test. It is priced right also when purchased at EVERGREEN.
Always change oil at 3750 miles. My 07 Impreza I used M1 and it drank it like crazy but tested ok.

Jim is right about the 2007 2.5i being thirsty for Mobil 1...mine was the same way. I just did my most recent change with Castrol Edge (it was a great deal at Advance Auto Parts in Augusta). So far so good.
