making progress, the guy who is doing the car is very meticulous. hes fixing little tiny imperfections I would probably never have noticed. The sides of the car had a very slight wave to them, so he roughed it out and skim coated both sides of the car with a lightweight filler and block sanded them by hand to take the wave out, he said in the right light you may be able to notice a slight wave if you look hard enough. I told him im not worried about it one bit lol!
the hood was a mess when I brought it to him. it cracked where I bonded it originally, so I bought some new extra rugged panel adhesive for gluing van sides on and cut it back apart and re glued it after I fixed some imperfections I missed the first time around. I did as much of the rough body work as I could and sent it with the car, and he spent another 4 hours on it filling and sanding. the results are amazing, you cannot tell that subaru didnt make the hood that way. it looks completely factory....
