Need parts?

I was at Brunswick Auto Recycling today looking around for a few parts. I found 3 GC body cars, atleast 5 or 6 legacy wagons, a could legacy sedans and a couple foresters. Parts vary in availability but there are many with the ej22, I saw phase 1 mostly... a few ej25 with complete blocks and 1 ej18. No coupes just sedans and wagons. There are no performance parts. I will post if I am heading back that way if you want me to get prices and if something is available.

Are you talking about the one Gabe works at? The second one on Allen range road?

There was an SVX there a while ago...

the one hes talking about is across from the air base , next to Fat boys restraunt. ive been to the ones on allen range road the first one sucks , they don't have crap ,but the second one they have a lot of nice cars out there. and techinically that one is freeport , not brunswick. they had a yellow festiva and an esocrt gt when I was there last year really cool yard.

pauls pick part has like 15 legacys , and a few foresters , able auto has a imprezza rs and a lgt wagon 2nd gen and a few others and whites auto has 5 or 6 2nd gen legacys. but norms in wiscasset has got the best setup , all subaru junkyard lol. there amount of parts is incredible.

^ oh yea... I always think it's Brunswick, but yes. it's like 5 feet over the town line.

yup , I really like that yard. I hate the ones where they don't let you walk around like your gunna steal stuff or sue them if you hurt yourself.

I won't go to a yard that I can't pull my own parts. A lot of pulling parts off a car has to do with looking the whole car over. Why did it end up there? If it was crashed, that's ideal. It means it was working fine before the crash, and now it's in the yard. If the body is in perfect condition, why did it end up there? engine? transmission? diff? etc.

Is the interior in nice shape? tells me if it was taken care of. The person probably also took care of the engine. Etc. When you go to a place and they just hand you a part, there's no way of getting any idea on how that car was treated.

Maybe I take ripping parts off junked cars too seriously, but it's sort of like a detectives game. Regardless, I have never gotten a bad part.

when you go back check if there are any coupe spoilers for me! or headlights/corners! Ive got a 99 rs that I need parts for.

what year RS?

They don't have any coupes at the moment. Check Norm's (they will be top dollar).

Headlights will be driver side only, passenger sides all have broken tabs.

Corners are hit and miss. When I was there last they said 96-00 were different then the other GC years.

Mud flaps should be there but I will check.

Alright the report is in. I was there picking up a starter.

Spoilers/trunks: only 1 impreza sedan now which is spoilerless

Headlights/cornermarkers: as stated above

Mudflaps: There are some but they would come from a few different cars

ok nice now this is preobly a no but any rs rims? or anything? and where is this place?

By chance were there any Foresters? I'm trying to find a working clock pod for my 00'. It would be the one on the headliner...

Thanks!

There were a couple but I didn't look too closely. If you google them and give them a call they could tell you because the ones they have are in the inventoried section
