also, i will probably replace the pads within a couple of months...should i do it before i change the fluid? I'd rather wait a few more weeks/months since they are still fine....but i don't want to do the fluid again when i DO get new pads. I know i won't lose fluids when i change the pads, but...

okay....two liters of fluid and speed bleeders....anything else? to have it done was $60-70 i think...bleeders and fluid are probably going to cost me that much anyways...but at least i can reuse the bleeders (right?) for next time

how much brake fluid for a wrx? going with ATE super blue. some say less than 1 liter, some say more...need to know cause i need to order and don't want to be stuck waiting for more. i plan on taking it to patriot to have it done, so id assume they are efficient or is it worth it to buy a...

i just did my 30K in the driveway this weekend (and last weekend) still need to do brake fluid, but i think i'm going to take it to patriot for that...disposing of all the old fluids is becoming a pain in the ass. i also need to look into that injection flush too

well, personally i think 1,000+ is a little excessive for a watch...but i was looking at these little guys a while back...both under $250

i ended up finding the T70 at NAPA in Westbrook...the only place in town (or directly out of town) that carried this little guy...seems to be kinda rare. since i had no hose lying around, i ended up taking the intercooler off...which i really regret on a related note...does anybody know how to...

thanks for the advice Gabe...even though it was the worst ever...haha j/k...those bolts on the back side of the intercooler are such a beyotch! the one closest to the driver side almost made me drive this thing off a cliff....lost one of the bolts there that i'm sure my tire will find got myself...

ahhh...looks like the tool i need is a Torx bit...always chasing around tools!

hmmm, i was wondering if the obvious plug at the bottom of the transmission was the one...but its not a nut, id probably have to use some sort of star shaped allan wrench...definitely not a 21 mm nut and it sticks out right in the middle of the case, not set in like the pictures on scoobymods

okay this is kinda stupid....but where is transmission drain plug on an 05 WRX? i read this, but i still don't see it http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9 is there some landmark that would make it easier to find...i mean, i ripped off the brush guard, is it under that? sorry...
