Def a resistor. Should be right under the glovebox. It has 2 screws holding it and a connector that plugs into it. << that's if its anything like my RS. Not sure about the part number though.

I have 2 acers and happy so far. Mine (5672WLMi)(Intel Duo) has been through hell and still runs like a charm. i'd give them 9/10 PS: On the other hand, my wife's 5100 (AMD) is not as peppy and the Intel, maybe 7/10
