Just so everyone knows, the Ancient Ones show is this weekend, at the Augusta armory.  Not a typical gun show, a lot of cool stuff going on there.   There are usually a lot of things you wont see anywhere else.  Im going to go walk around with a few interesting toys, and see what they turn into...

Yeah, like Chris said above, try not ask someone on a public forum to break the law- an inspection license is most garage's bread and butter around here ....  on another note, Im in Litchfield, and have a full "loaner" exhaust, if you need it, you know, just to see what your car would sound like...

Driving down 126 yesterday, spotted a 240SX with numbers cranking across the ice. So on the way back from Lewiston, they were still there.  Turns out there was an ice race out there, huge track, lots of corners. They said next Sunday is studded snows day.  Im pretty sure its an "organized"...

We took the 06 wagon out, but no track time for the pretty car... Next Sunday is studded snows instead of screwed tires, hope to see some...

No new pics, but i finished up the reciever end of the barrel.  Now waiting for my 11 degree crowning tool to come in. As soon as that's here, Ill cut the barrel down to 26", true it up, and put the new crown on. I have an old beater Enfield, i may do someting similar to this on that one...

We would probably be up for an Augusta meet- I work there!  But we are between Augusta and Lewiston/Auburn anyway. I say if it gets the Bratman mobile there, it would draw some serious interest... I think a lot of people want to see that monster in person. Needs to warm up outside a bit though..

Its really hard to get pics of polished stuff close up. But trust me, its a mirror.  Im going to size up the trigger and sear now, get them lined up 90 degrees, then a polish job on them and the bolt .  I should be looking at roughly a 2.5lb trigger pull, with a nice clean break.  I will pick up...
