honestly, you should be replacing anything that is part of the oil lubrication system. engine, oil cooler, oil pump, turbo. you can clean and clean and clean, but that doesn't always guarantee that you won't miss a piece of metal that will plug an oil galley to cause another bearing failure

i just did mine with that gates kit, very nice and for the racing version, all the idlers are dual bearings, not singles that's a great price!

you can. read the instructions on how to run it with the bleed setup and reusing your factory boost controller lines. you should have no issues if you do that.

this is true, but you can still run the 3 port as a bleed setup like stock. he mentioned that he had no other upgrades. Probably has a boost leak. is it idling rough?

hunh? an ebcs is an ebcs, they all work the same. it's a solenoid. apply power, engages it. a manual boost controller is completely different

put 12v from the battery to the terminals and you should hear it click, if it doesn't, reverse the leads. If it still doesn't, it's bad
