I think so, well hope so. It still has GC tophats so hopefully the original springs are on the forester struts. It sat way too high in the back took me a bit to figure it out. If you can use the struts let me know I was going to toss them.

I'm going to have some rear forester struts next week if you want them. For some reason the RS i just bought had them on the back only, I'm taking them off.

I thought that was an outhouse at first, but then saw the window, which didn't make a lot of sense. Ice shack maybe?

I just can't see it working out as a money making business in Maine. Nobody will pay big money to clean a car that will be muddy and/or salty the next day. Seems like detailed around here means you hosed the mud off.

Passed a silver GR maybe an sti with silver numbers on the windshield today in Belfast.

It's more than the struts if you want to do it right. At the minimum the rear trailing arm brackets need to be swapped. There are also a few spacers in the subframes, trans crossmember etc.

It was a girl in her 20's. A shop gave her an estimate for a $1200 brake job. I'm getting powerstop ceramic pads with new rotors for $150 from rock auto. A used goldie is $160 on ebay. After mud season I'm going to do the little bit of bodywork and paint it.

I don't want anything rusty or anything that has had rust repaired. This is for my girlfriend's parents. She's buying them a car and we want something that will last 5-10 years before it rots away, which is a given with them driving it on dirt roads and in the winter. I don't really care about...

Now willing to spend up to $2500. Will also take a forester. Might consider a high miles car. Still must be rust free and automatic.

That might work. My GF's parents have a 96 outback that rotted away and is falling apart but runs fine. I could swap the engines. As long as it's not bondo over rust how much do you want? That was very helpful, thanks. 

Looking for a CHEAP Outback or Outback sport wagon. Must be under 200k miles, automatic and rust free. In need of any mechanical work or minor wreck is ok.
