i hate people! Seriously!!  From the pic it is hard to see is your bumper area bent in at all? Doesn't look like it. Is the white area paint left from the other car or paint gone from yours? I would say you ought to be able to get rid of the outside scuffs with a good paint correction/polish...

Oh man, that sounds like when I try and work on my car on my own!  I'm glad you got it in the end and it makes for a good story and more rewarding in the end!

Yes! def feels more like a family car in terms of cabin space! Although I heard that the e-brake thing (or lack of manual brake) is a pain. And isn't the turbo located closer to block than on impreza chassis, which would explain less turbo lag time?  

Funny, that's the exact car i was paired (in the back seat) when i did the O'neil winter course. It feels way more spacious than my wrx! The inside feel too was way different than in mine on both acceleration and quick turning.... granted the sways played a part there. Nice car, like the touches...

Yeah I saw that thread. It's reassuring but still oh so very annoying! I am sure the cold is also making things worst, but I am surprised at how brittle the subaru bumper is. My 20 yo civic hatch who went through 2 winters never once had such problems.  I do thing the lip helps hold it together...
