    Antique Auto Registration

Thanks for the replies. I'm picking up a 77 Jeep Cherokee next week, and wanted a little more information before I register it. Hoping lift/tires of course but keeping it proportional and the tires covered should keep me out of trouble on the road and if I don't have to swap hired for inspection...

    Antique Auto Registration

Does anyone on here have a vehicle registered as an antique? What are the requirements/limitations? I am picking up a 1977 Jeep next week, and if I can register it as antique I won't have to have the hassles of inspection. It's currently registered normally, and passes inspection but if it's one...

    The unofficial GUN talk thread

Yeah it was just a good chance to get some vid of a small fireball. I thought vids used to show up with a play button but not anymore I suppose. Yeah Nate I thought you might recognize it. Holding up good, and the rifle feels good. Easy to hit a ~8x8 plate free standing at 100 yards, I could...

Agreed as much as I don't like Walmart they are getting it in, and for close to what it was. Paying the high prices only encourages it.

I should get out my 700. I haven't shot it since last year but when I did I could cover all 5 holes with my thumb at 100 yards. Nice bolt guns to shoot. I had a spare box of 45 around so I took a quick trip to the range. Forgot part of my target stand so I shot at 25 yards. Looks like I need...

    01 Legacy Outback - Transmission?

Any time I've had a caliper stick enough to cause that much heat, it was pretty much undrivable. And still never enough to melt a line attached to the frame in that area. Just wanted to make sure that a Subaru isn't any different. My guess is the line went bad, and blew transmission fluid...

    01 Legacy Outback - Transmission?

Ok so since I can't put my hands on it I am going to feel like they are out to screw me. Just the way I am. Last report I got was that the brake caliper froze up and melted the transmission line ( I assume to the cooler?) Is that something likely on an outback? I know it would be impossible BS...

    01 Legacy Outback - Transmission?

I'm hoping just broken line its in the garage this morning. Is it damaging to run out of fluid and coast to a stop? Not a transmission guy lol if it does need new I'll get in touch.

    01 Legacy Outback - Transmission?

My girlfriend went home today to visit family and made it about 3.5 hours on the highway in the hi 90s for temps before "it just stopped". She pulled over, and the car is running fine. But nothing happens when she tries to go, I had her manually shift it into other gears still no movement. So...

Stock tires are worn, replace or upgrade?

When Evergreen noticed the wear starting last summer they did an alignment. Either something was still off or they were this bad before the alignment and it didn't get noticed during other service.

Stock tires are worn, replace or upgrade?

Yeah definately not a snow worthy tire, I've got dedicated snows for that. I'm going to get an alignment next week, had one last fall but I'm thinking I either hit something or somethign is still off. Not going to ruin another set of tires for so simple a reason.

Stock tires are worn, replace or upgrade?

I got a good price on a set of Ventus V12s so I'm going to try them. Thanks for the suggestions!

Felt like any other lower to me, just lighter. I wouldn't make one into the ultimate battle rifle or anything like that withough years of reviews, but for punching paper and maybe groundhogs it's all good.

Stock tires are worn, replace or upgrade?

Thanks for the recommendations, I will be looking into most of those. The ones people got 50K miles+ interest me the most, I put on way to many miles. The stockers I might run for a while still anyways. If you look at Jamey's picture (thanks for posting) they are pretty much worn on the inside...

Just checked out some New Frontier complete polymer lowers down to Butterhill Ballistics in Livermore Falls. $156 out the door for a complete lower, not bad at all.
