nah ive heard CV axle noises before, nothing like this. in all honesty it sounds like the differential had bound up and was releasing pressure. as far as the 2nd gear clicking, it has only done that once and scared the crap out of me.

sometimes when backing out of my driveway, and then taking off i hear a click-thunk noise coming from the transmission. is this normal? And just last week i had my car in 2nd gear slowing down with clutch released already and heard a clicking noise that could also be felt in the shifter. does...

yea i spent most of my time there chilling with some friends in his Tahoe. i didnt get there in time to park with the subies, i got stuck next to mostly american rigs. Hey dan was nice to meet you and put a face to the name.
