so WTF why is it i cant find a 02 impreza service manual like chiltons or the like at ANY autoparts place? what is the best thing for a CONSUMER to use (i dont want to spend much more than 15-20$...) I had this same problem with the 97 obs...

By tapered do you mean Barrel springs? I know that some after market springs are like that(swift springs)? Just so the top and bottom are the same size that is what matters right?

Do legacy/forester/Outback springs fit on a 02 Imp TS? -I am looking for something a BIT stiffer than stock BUT NOT shorter.(at least not up front) I like the ground clearance in the winter and go camping in the summer and have to deal with a bit of real mild offroad conditions.(SUPER rutted...

Did they reset your car after picking up the codes? disconect your Batt at the location that you are going go get your can inspected. let it discharge... Then reconnect and EASE it in to get inspected. This is just a guess.

how about getting gr2's for the front and agx's for the rear to help dial in the under-steer a bit at limit? you can buy them separate on tire rack last time i checked about a year ago... -note: i am not known for having good ideas...

The Mini drop is no big deal. It adds to a bit less front weight bias...a good thing.

can u switch the center diff in a 97 obs? to more bias to the back?

I have AGX's with WRX springs( mid 90's eruo spec) dont remeber rates. BUT it did DROP the back from stock oubtack height mabey 1/4 inch? and front Mabey 1/8" if any.... Great with 16" wheels mabey a BIT harsh with 17" wheels... offers less understeer with a hair of oversteer full on. I can...
