    The course was awful. Seemed to be about 1/2 the size of year's past, and the turns were awkward at the speeds they were carrying. I was rooting for Chris, too bad for the off course.... I hope the exposure gets him a long overdue sponsorship in an open car.

    Maine's New Exhaust Law? Effective July 12, 2010?

    This could be very bad. As I read the "new" law, the 95 db limit no longer applies...If it's not stock, you could face a fine. Not sure what happens if you get stopped after that. I hope SAN or UBM can lend some weight to having this overturned.

    changing lines/flare nut wrench or vise grips?

    Small knipex alligator pliers before flare nut wrenches.....Flare nut wrenches can slip/expand and still round over the fitting. I do keep a set of flare nut wrenches, but they are usually only used in tight spots where there aren't other options. Everyone should own a set of the 3 common...

    (2) 2002 WRX transmissions. Would recommend a rebuild, as these were bought to use for parts when chasing down a noise in my car, which ended up being a busted center diff unit. Neither has been taken apart. Both will at least need center diff units- one has broken spider gears, and the other...

    CMC Rallycross take 2. Febuary 28th.

    I'm off to burlington for that weekend, though would definitely attend more rallyx's in Maine if they were offered. It would be great if there was enough interest to do a series throughout the year.
