Bought a newer Outback to match the Beater.  Same color only newer and 500% nicer.   Then I put the 16'' Outback snows on the beater for some early season fun. Fun was had with large snowbanks launched off a RR track crossing in the woods... It's still running.   

You should come to our Portland meet if you can make it tomorrow. As a former Fozzie owner it sounds like you have a good start with the mods. Fogs, rack and flaps is functional and stylish. The exhaust and a nice UEL header and intake will really bring it to life. Have fun!

Had some fun in Standish tonight. Found a nice "trail" that was off the beaten path and managed to get the winter beater off the ground jumping some railroad tracks. Also bashed through some snowbanks that were hood height. Pics to follow if I can get them loaded up soon. $200 Outbacks sure...

Are people parking up top on the garage? It's nice to see everyone's rides and that won't happen if we're parked all over the Old Port. I was budgeting to park up there since I don't get out enough. Xmas treat for myself kind of thing.

I'm in with my new-to-me Outback. If Kam and his buddy go then we might have a mini caravan from Windham. 3-4 cars

Hi Todd, I met you on the dirt drive. I was in the gold RS coupe, but now I have a 2000 Outback 5mt and it sure is nice! If I see you at another meet we'll have to park them together. Mine is lowered slightly on Legacy struts with H&R springs. It rides great.

The new owner said he would join up. He also mentioned something about a "Maine Subaru Project Facebook" but I don't do Facewaste so I know nothing about it. I'll have to send him a reminder to join up. He did say he'd be around in the snow when we all go out.

Don't be too sad guys, I still have one Subaru in the driveway and on Friday it should be two.

Sold! New owner has promised to sign up here as a Member, I insisted because I'll miss the car and other people know it as well. I hope to hear it rumble again soon. Hey Matt: you can lock down this thread

I might like to check these out pending my car sale and Outback purchase on Friday.  Would you mind if I test fit one to see if it clears on a lowered Outback?

Thanks to Kam for the hookup with fixing the exhaust today. I expect to see the Outback's hitch on that Fozzie ASAP! Also put on some RallyArmor flaps that were hanging out in the garage.

Haha, just saw this. I useful have a Shiba who liked to drift in my Subaru. Good dogs but lots of work. They are fiercely independent little Japanese foxes.

You guys have figured out what I have been doing for a long while: having fun in a lightly modded N/A car. My RS has the same gearing, short shift and UEL headers. Add the intake and exhaust stuff and a great suspension setup and you have a great driving car with no headaches, no premium fuel...

It's the offspring of a Corolla and an Audi. I should keep my RS simply because the new ones are so ugly it will boost the value of the good looking old ones... Either I'm not liking any new cars the past few years or I'm just allergic to car loans. Not sure which.
