Thanks Meg!  -For the car which came with 3/4 tank of gas, aftermarket CD player and a trailer hitch with hitch ball (good for getting pulled out of snowbanks this winter).  Not a bad car for $200 plus the finder's fee.   It's safe to say that I'm not at all worried about what I do to this car.

Well, it turns out that my Bucket list car that I've wanted for over a decade is not very practical for an older guy with a family.  I've owned this RS for a few months and it's been tons of fun but not what I need to be driving at this point in my life.  Everyone here knows it as Matt's old RS...

I dremeled some notches in my forester rails and my Thule mounts never broke off even with a full load and spirited driving. What about cutting a lip into the plastic?
