    I sold those wheels to my neighbor anyway. Give it a try on the bearing replacement. I've never done it but it looks pretty easy. Lots of ceramic bearings on eBay too!

    The Tour de Cure would be awesome in good weather. The route is really nice. I'm not sure I could bring myself to sign up again though based on this year's experience. It was more about survival than fun.

    It's my dads... he's done with 26" bikes... unless it's a fatbike in which case it's ok because the O.D. on the tire is essentially a 29"

    Does StarTron zap any aliens who might be living in my tank? I'll do the 1/2 fill up next time and see how it goes. If she still hesistates, I'll StarTron it.... should probalby just do that anyway from what I'm hearing. I'm at 1/2 a tank right now... should need to fill up by the weekend.

    I've been noticing that after I fill up the Foz and start driving that I get some hesitation from the engine. Most noticeable immediately after fillup when starting from a traffic light or in stop/go traffic... Lower RPM's. Seems to clear up in a day. I'd think that if it were junk in the...

    Here's my current project... Picked up a used On-One Scandal 29er frame and started loading it up with the parts I took off the old 26" bikes. Using the rigid fork that came with my Singular frame. This will be the backup MTB but mainly the icecream run bike with the trail-a-bike attached...

    damn!!!! A Slingshot!!! There's one of those in the MTB Hall of Fame if I'm not mistaken! For those looking for 29ers on the cheap... Bikesdirect.com is a pretty sweet deal if you're not looking to spend a lot but yet get a lot. Personally, I wouldn't buy one of the WalMart or Dick's bikes...
