Feeler: 03 Forester XS Premium 5MT **Now with Pics!**

With the Swifts on the SG foresters the drop is greater. Maybe 1" in the back and 1.5" in the front. The Swifts give it a nice balanced look as compared to FSTi springs.

    Where to get Snowboarding Equipment?

only thing I buy in a shop vs. online is boots. I like to try them on, have 'em fitted, etc. Other than that, online is king. I've bought from www.the-house.com amongst other places. Decent prices. In other news... Dropped my board off at Gorham Bike & Ski for a tune up... they did a...

I might add that the Giant Medium frame fits a WIDE range. I ride a 2006 Giant TCR in the Medium/Long framesize and love it. But I know shorter folk who also ride a staight up Medium that are my height and much shorter.

nice one Pedro... I really wanted to do it but momma was out with one kid and the other was sleeping. Ended up just pulling the snowtires out of the basement, putting the deck furniture away, etc. Winter prep. Trader Joes is a zoo. Was it a requirement to stop there?

If I were to go back to a WRX, it would have to be a wagon. That's why we traded it out in 07, cargo/kid space. My only complaint was the material the seats were made of... snagged too easily, at least for me. Other than that the car was great and mine was only running Cobb Stage 1 with an 05...

It's Ted with the funeral... not me thankfully. Sorry to hear Ted. I'm probably not going to make Cranksgiving either only because I have way too much to do since I accomplished nothing this past weekend. Bummer. I have 4 or 5 26" tubes. Now that I ride a tubeless 29er, I really don't have...

keep the Dean!!! For the crankset, you can pickup a Truvativ Stylo 3.3 for $114 online which includes the GXP bottom bracket. Then to make it a single speed, just remove the big and small rings. You'll need shorter chainring bolts too. Still cheaper than buying the Stylo 1.1 single speed...

i've been using the Nashbar one on a beater bike that hauls the kid trailer & has the rack for the kid seat for years. Works well. I just bought a new one from PricePoint (exact same tensioner as Nashber) for the Merckx but the sucker is damn noisy. Not sure why. I may flip flop the old...

You should make the ole Dean into a single speed. Easily done if you have an extra set of brake levers. You'll need a chain tensioner which you can get off of PricePoint or Nashbar, etc for around $20. Actually, I believe Nashbar has a whole kit which includes the spacers for the freehub and...

I'll most likely be riding a single speed, with a backpack or messenger bag. Mid point beer sounds good to me. There's a CVS over on Forest Ave we could stop and get something and then hit the Great Lost Bear. Just a thought...
