OK.... So i managed to get my hands on LDR's 3" turbo back exhaust. I welded in the O2 sensor bung and ploped it in. Sounds great. Actually it sounds down right mean!!! and the turbo noise will give a 90 year old a stiffy for a week I'm sure!!!!
The other day I blew a code.... o2 sensor below...
I plan on swaping my gear oils out to synthetic.... motul is a wonderful oil!!!! It should work in the sti just fine, just make sure you get the weight oil for your car.

I got a letter in the mail the other day..... Subaru is offering an up graded ecu for the abs to improve initial breaking on loose or uneven surfaces!!!
I noticed that with my car (02 wrx) the abs would kick on as soon as you hit the breaks on crappy roads or even when turning into driveways...
OMFG!! look what I have started!!! my kids are 1 year and 4. Things are getting better for by the day.... she is having a grand ol' time it seems this summer, I really hope she dosnt seriously mess up her life. As far as I go.......
Life is good for me now, I am enjoying my time alone and...

I have seen lots and lots of kits for sale. I think JEGS offers some real basic kits that inject into the intake like a 50 shot or some thing. I cant remember exactly. It looked cheep cost wise though and they advertised it was ment to be used on unmodified or slightly modified cars and was safe...
Dyno day will be good for me. I have been reading up and learning a lot. It will be good to ask questions in person and see how things work. Thanks for all the replys guys!!!
Chris has a good point about the paint thing. you have to take a really good look at the inner fender and attatching the inner well back on too, you may need to modify some things so it all comes together.... but that's all part of being custom, right

I have done them on a Golf once, flaired them out. Some one makes a tool that actually bolts to your hub, you use it to flair the fenders. it works great, no gastly dents like there would be if you hammered them out.

I can open my wallet all I want. there is nothing in it at the moment, so no harm in opening it LMAO
Thanks for the info though, I'll figure out all this modern engine stuff soon enough. Its tuff to pull one self from the Land Rover stone age

I agree, with out a press you could be looking at some bloody knuckles and lots of swareing. If you dont have a press a stout vice can work but a press is much easier
