Thanks for the info... Ya, i had to scrap the carpets due to the leak..carpets being damp in a closed car= no good. AT this point i think i will look into getting it fixed. i guess at this point the deal breaker would be the body work. If i can swing it i will upgrad the clutch OR flywheel...

Yup. it works.(most tires)some have OVERSIZED bases for the studs but those are Very rare in the U.S.... astro-glide optional.

I just got snow tires for my girlfriend for her 05 VW golf. the guy seeling them said the wheels came off a 99 passat. the sizes of tires matched and they were both 5 bolt, so i figured that they would fit WRONG. Different spacing.... So... DID VW CHANGE THEIR BOLT PATTERN IN THE PAST FEW...

I think i would have aksed for more than a free oil change. like hows about paying for a dyno run and see if the enigne is now below stock hp... or more realisticly get em IN Writing to agree to a Engine rebuild or replacement it that one dies in 10k... of course if you only went a few miles...

i think it is more about quicker revs not as much hp gain..... sorta light with a flywheel. if you go lighter and under driven even more so but be careful it might not put out enought juice for lights AND stereo.... that just my .02$ from what i have heard... but i might get a lightened pully...

could be that you have a leak upstream in the system and are only gaining air but not loosing much fluid. have you tried bleading your brakes yet? that would what i would try next. but i dont know much about brakes...

Well it is true to a point. But.... It is behind your firewall so you should not be getting fumes. and it is a VERY small amount.... but yes it does release toxic fumes... most plastics rellease VOC's "wich are bad" even at room temp. Sot go for that leather interoir, wait they treat leather...

I was thinking of getting rear disks for my car this spring but have heard that it might not work for many reasons... -it will mess up the ABS -It can cause problems with the Diff-some one said that they are computer controled(on a 97 OBS?!?) -no way to mount it right. Can anyone help me out...
