The studs stuck at least 3mm out of the tread, he had them custom made, and the guy who did it wouldn't make him any more IIRC. As per the rules, the studded tires must be DOT legal. His tires and studs may be DOT legal apart but I don't think they are together. I haven't been able to find DOT...

Update: Added some 2wd Legacy control arms and sway bar, 18mm. We'll see how it works. The arms are pretty beefy.

Also, wasn't NER trying to run an event here again and having issues with keeping the costs down? $40 is about par. Are there inter rallyx politics that I don't know about (most likely since I am not on any organizing committee)?

My general rule is if it is below 40-50F to use snows. The gravel tires will get too hard to be useful in the cold.

I agree, and Saab's are what I know as well... I'm running no front stock rear in my SPG and looking to get an SAS rear and have an SAS rear bar in my NG900, I really like both setups. A rear bar only, or the addition of a rear bar is probly the way to go with the subie, just figured I'd run...

Over the winter break I installed some KYB GR-2's and WRX (don't know which year) springs in the fwd '93 Impreza RX beast. As a result I now have an understeering pig that has a little snap oversteer :-[. Anyone got any ideas on how to bring this car back to neutral with easy smooth rotation...

I'm really not a fan of DMS in general, although they make good stuff they are cost prohibitive for initial cost and repair. For a side note, I think the DMS spec is keeping a lot of people out of the new Spec Focus Series. I am leaning more towards the AGX's.... but they say that they are not...

the car is single purpose rallyx right now, and I have heard good things about the AGX's. The other question is would I then stick with the stock springs or use the WRX set that I have?

Ok, so one if the things the '93 Impreza fwd sedan is going to get for next year is a new set of struts. I would really like to get some JVAB specials but it isn't in the budget. So does anyone have any suggestions for replacements, will GR-2's cut it for RallyX? maybe some used RS, or Ver7...

Sometimes there is so much traffic entering and exiting that traffic just stops... think 3 times over capacity and everyone is trying to qualify.
