Actually I think what you're feeling would be the Potenza tires that come OEM on STis.... they're almost like friggin' motorcycle tires... my '05 STi would do the same thing over like "snake work" in the road (those black crack filler things)
~Updated~
Prior, I had asked about the wheel bearing in my car, and for some solutions to the issue...
Turned out it was simply more of a job than I can handle for the time being, so I put the car back together, and brought it to the dealership to have the bearing put in...
$400 and 4hrs...
I need to pick up a chassis in Vermont.... I don't have a truck... I could rent a U-Haul trailer if I need to, but I need some wheels to get there on... does anyone have a truck I could borrow or is anyone up for a day of driving? Puhleeeeezzzz? :sad5: :sad5:
I'm not loaddded right now, but I...
Patriot's always been relatively good to me...
The law in Maine, (and maybe US?) is that they can't dishonor your warranty due to mods unless directly related to why something broke...
i.e. they can't go "See those coilovers you got? We're not going to cover your stock seized engine because of...
Think of it as being temporary..
when it's in your car, the ap 2.0 is "married" to your car, and when you uninstall it, it isn't...
It takes your car's original ecu info, and stores it, and then when you 'unmarry' it replaces it back to oem.
That's not exactly how it works...
Accessports "marry" themselves to the car they're installed to... so you asking to "borrow" someone's AP to flash your ECU, you'd be asking them to make it not work on their car...
The only thing an access port can do for someone else other than the owner's...
That's just a paperweight man...
(whoops, sorry didn't even realize they got in the shot...)
So anyways... I'm still alive... it wasn't as bad as I planned... but we'll see how the day goes..
The other stuff I have that's rated lower seemed hotter to me... but I think it's deceiving because...
Is it possible to literally die from shitting your brains out? I guess I'll find out soon enough...
So.... I eat a lot of hot food... but hot food is measured in scoville units...
To put it into perspective... a habenero pepper is between 100,000-350,000 units...
this sauce ranks in at...
Welcome to STM, where the ladies guys are twice as nice for half the price.
(but there's some girls on here too, and they're just as cool! )
I duno about that one.... you obviously wouldn't make up raisin about the car going into reverse without effort, but how would you have accidentally put it in 6th first off, etc? Hah, kinda funny I had to tell the kid at the dealership who drove it off the lot for my test drive about the reverse...
Squeeking metal sound is more likely a warped rotor rubbing on the dust plate or pads?
Wheel bearings typically have a "Whub whub whub whub" low tone to them as they're going....
I could be wrong, but that's my diagnosis.
Haha... though that guy is mildly retarded, he's from like either the teckademiks or IMV films crew, can't remember which... I do know he actually owns a supra, and a kenny bell cobra, though.
<< Jealous.
That's just not right... even if you didn't like it, you can't rip the metaphorical balls straight out of Runnah by bringing him to such torture as Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants! :sleepy1: :bom:
the valve core? (little metal piece inside the stem?)
If that's what broke, it's like 4 bucks at any auto part store for a valve core wrench that comes w/ a couple cores.
