I get it. I am glad to hear its working. Hard for a new guy to sport to have connections for a co driver who may be reliable or have necessary safety gear right away.

Faults stored? Fuel filter? Pressure reading for fuel? Catalytic convertor condition? Air filter condition? Engine ground cable condition?

If its the #2 in picture, (support) looks like two bolts then change #5 oring (I bet o ring cracked or shrunk). I would say if its visible externally on back of head doesn't appear too bad unless somethings mounted over it or limiting access.

I am guessing from sitting may have shrunk. Is that an oring or a cap? In the back? If its not bad would drive. Not familiar with your particular setup, maybe remove and replace said oring or apply small amount of silicon if leak is that bad.

Thought many on here would like to know the State of Maine has updated state inspection rules. Most all changes I would say are better for drivers and or stations due to reduction in non safety related issues being dropped, and some stuff that just didn't seem applicable anymore. Example...

Ok so if you re use head bolts, ok IMO, when torque they should feel "tight" or turn hard right to final movement. If as you tighten the feel like turn easier then you are feeling them stretch and then you have to replace. But I have only had this problem with high mileage vw's.
