05 wrx coolant expansion tank

^who i am ...what i say --->
i need the coolant expansion tank that sits on the engine for my 05 wrx mine was plastic and i hit it when doing the up pipe and snapped one of the fittings off long story short i need a new one soon 

 
hmmm heard the metal ones have issues ... would like another plastic one but ill let you know by the weekend 

 
Plastic ones have more issues then metal ones the only issue metal ones ever have is the tops rusting

 
As long as its not bad I'll probably take it ..I'm working Saturday in auburn all day have Sunday off so maybe we can meet up one of those days

 
The tanks I have aren't rusted that's just the issue they have but the plastic ones always break the nips off they are to fragile

 
Yep. The old school plastic tanks are no bueno. My legacy has one and luckily hasn't broke but a metal tank is the next one ill buy

The newer WRX/STi coolant tanks are plastic. I bought an 06 STi one for my XT because mine was rusty and it was plastic. I think that's why they went back to plastic. But the metal ones are definitely more durable.
