Here are a few pics of the install. Only took me 30 min to do. I was very surprised how easy it went.

Lucky you, when I put my bar/mounts on, I broke off a mount bolt IN THE UNIBODY. Had to drill and re-tap that sucker. Glad it went easy for you.

yeah lucky! that looks a ton easier then mine. i had to drive it 30 miles to evergreen to get it put back together.

I paid Gabe to do mine because I'm a lame-a$$. Happy to see you got it done yourself.

Well thank god for a heated garage, if I didnt have that I would be waiting until the summer to put it on. Next step is to find more cheep suspension upgrades.

What kind of bar is that? A JDM one?

I am jealous of how easy yours went- mine is still sitting in the livingroom waiting for round 2

:rant:where are the jackstands you NEED to have under there when you're crawling around under that car??!!

do you really truly trust your life to a fricken Craftsman pump jack??!!

signed, your Mom

I trust craftsman with my life!!!! lol no I dont really. I had wooden pads under the tires when I was actually under the car. Granted they are not jackstands but it did the job.

wooden pads under tires? nice idea, but that would let car settle 5-6" if jack fails.

you must be really skinny (or would be if the craftsman pooched)

seeing/hearing this ***** gives me displaced anxiety

can you recommend someone for suspension bits installation, ie: anti-lift kit, lateral link bushings, coilovers, front sway, Group-N motor mounts??? On an '09 STi... in the Sanford area?

I don't know anyone in the Sanford area. But if you have all the parts needed I'm sure the boys at M&A auto (a vendor of our) could hook you up and have it all done in a couple hours. Gather all the parts, and you won't be disappointed. In fact plan it right, and I can swing over, pick you up and bring you somewhere for lunch.

I can help you out with the minor ones, I am usually in sanford area, about once a week (usually on mondays) "I promise, I will use jack stands instead of wood this time." lol
