08 Stage 2 kit (LGT, 09 WRX)

With my purchase of a new turbo and supporting mods. I will be putting up for sale my current stage 2 downpipe setup. This kit is PERFECT for someone looking to go stage 2 on a budget. No cat-back exhaust is needed for this setup, it will bolt to your factory cat-back. that's right, you can run stage 2 through your stock catback. Go stage 2 now, and buy the rest later. Included with this "kit" will be:

1. MadDad divorsed wastegate "shorty" downpipe

2. Factory secondary cat peice (hollow) making it catless

3. Subaru gasket set (downpipe-to-turbo, and donut gasket)

4. XPT stage 2 map flashed on your car

Im asking $300 for the kit. All you will need extra for this will be a K&N panel filter. For a little bit more, I might be talked into selling you a K&N panel filter with my custom made open/rotated air box front. Sounds AWESOME!

NOTE: This downpipe will also work on LGT's and 09 wrx. you will just be on your own for a tune. We can work out a price if your interested.

 
Oh crap, wish I had $300, that's a sweet deal. I would need my own map though and I'm not sure but I think an 09 would need a catback right? I gotta get some snow tires and mudflaps first. I also want a STS and a good Radar Detector. Hopefully someone will take my old car off my hands soon seen a though I just dropped the price and started to advertise it.

The factory td04? I guess tossing it in a box for a backup. It would be a nice fresh turbo for your car, but its actually a tad smaller then the one you are running. Leggys run, if i remember correctly a vf46. Its just a hair larger.

Yes you would need a different map. 09 maps are different then 08 maps. But no you would not need a cat back. Stage 2 can be run through any factory exhaust at little to no loss in power (maybe 5 horsepower) Its just a sounds thing. I have seen dyno maps of stage 2 setups on identical cars, one with and one without a catback. The maps looked almost identical. One car was just a lot more quiet.

I would be interested if I had the cash but I need some winter capable tires first, the thump in these stock dunlops on the 09s below 32 degrees F is very irritating. Plus they are UHP Summer tires. I also need some RA flaps. If this set is still around after that I may think about it. I have an 09 though and that adds $$ because I need a different map. I do know of someone else who wants to snap this up as soon as they get the cash too. Someone will take this off your hands sooner or later.
