Start with the bad:  It does have a rebuilt title from 2003. I have had it inspected and everything checked out. It drives straight, tracks straight (even over 100), and brakes straight, even with the warped rotors. I have also done several braking tests (60+mph) with hands off the wheel where I would jump on the brakes and it would still brake straight. I will allow test drives to serious buyers of course, and have no problem demonstrating or allowing you to test for yourself.

Needs front control arms + bushings(Parts + labor approx $650 - if you are serious I can tell you where to take the car, and where to purchase the parts)

Needs front pads + rotors

If you do not see a picture that you would like, I will take a picture for you.

KBB Retail is over 10k, I currently am asking $6500. Private party KBB is $8-$8.6k. NADA Retail: $9750

This is the same M3 that has been out in some of the snowstorms around the mall area.

My reason for selling is no longer financial, I did some thinking and realized I would only be using this car in the winter (I have a motorcycle for the summer)- it no longer makes sense for me to keep it.

Year: 1999 M3
Miles: 123XXX (daily driven)
Mods: Racing Dynamics strut tower brace, M50 intake swap, 540i Maf, Headers, Active Autowerkes Gen 2 Catback, 11lb flywheel, ACT Stage 2 clutch, evosport underdrive pulleys, fan delete, ac belt removed, TRM tune, TMS Rear Strut mounts + reinforcements. Also has brand new snow tires put on 1 month ago. I have title in hand.

TMS Rear Strut mounts + reinforcement: $550 including labor
M50 Manifold: 600$
Clutch + flywheel: 1160$
Catback: 795$

Just these parts are totalled @ $5720

Also has ASC (traction control) delete, with removal of the ASC throttle body and replacement with a silicon boot.

On the dyno it made 239whp/232ft-lbs

Only trades I would be interested in -2005/2006 GSXR-1000, 2004/2005 ZX-10R, 2004-2007 Yamaha R1, 2005 CBR1000RR - any of these must have under 15k miles.

Also - 2008/2009 R6, 2009 ZX-6R, 2008/2009 GSXR-600, 2008/2009 CBR600RR, 2009 Triumph Daytona 675 - any of these must have under 7k miles.

As far as I know, the AC works. I have never tried to use it, being that it never had a belt on haha. I had planned to keep and track the car, so it wasn't a big issue for me. But plans change, and I would rather track a bike instead. If you were serious about the car (meaning with a deposit on it/funds in hand) I would pick up a belt and throw it in there to test it out for you, if the AC was a major deal breaker.

Alright no worries. Let me know if they decide they want it, or would like to see it in person. Also: I can be contacted via phone (text preferred) at (207)-522-8872

Another practical question from a practical girl who caries kid seats, dog, and assorted mom stuff but still wants a sporty ride: does that back seat fold down for pass-thru cargo carrying to trunk. Looks like it in the pics, but who knows...

Yes it does. I'm free after 4:30 today, where are you located? I can show the car tonight, but it's a little dirty from the recent storm.

Bump with some updates to the trade list.

No longer interested in trades. It developed an idle problem the other day where it has a very lumpy/dying idle and kept dying when given gas. It could be as simple as a fuel filter/o2 sensor/maf sensor. However, I have no money to fix it.

First $6500 takes it. I will not take anything lower than this. The vehicle may decide to stay running when you want to pick it up, or it may need to be towed, it will at least start to prove that it runs.

Check engine light that came on (is off now) was 1222: Rich/Lean condition lasting at least 10 seconds.

If the MAF is the same in the M3 as it is in a '91 325is, I have a brand new one that you're welcome to test, to see if that the case.
Looks like this:

Thanks, but it has an upgraded MAF (540i to be exact). I could prob find one at a junk yard...but I am actually in debt at the moment...bills are paid via my credit card so I need all the money I can get.
