Legacy22GT
New member
Hi everyone,
I have a 96 ej22 in my 99 legacy gt,
i was driving along the other day and noticed my temp gauge getting a little on the high side.
it was right between the H and the temp symbol
which isn't really "overheating" but it's abnormal and higher than it should be.
I was driving about 50 mph in 5th when this occurred.
It happened again about a week ago.
I checked all the fluid, they are fine,
no bubbles in the exhaust, no abnormally high or low coolant levels in the radiator overflow container (?)
no power loss,
I haven't checked the thermostat yet, but if the thermostat was failing wouldn't it be a constant failure? not random?
has anyone else had similar issues with their ej22?
Thanks!
