2" lift on top of forester suspension?

I was looking at adding a 2" sjr lift to my legacy wagon. I've already got forester suspension to give me a bit of lift. I was wondering how feasible this is, and how quickly it will do damage to my CVs?

Quite quickly. You can do a full 2" lift though, and drop the crossmembers and struts. You'll also have to lengthen your steering u joint, and possibly radiator hoses, and the such.

Also, that lift you linked to, will not fit a 97. That is for 2000 and newer.

  I'm aware, the guy makes them custom for all models on request I believe.

Yeah he does, just wanted to make sure you knew. I wouldn't use his stuff personally. I'd go to highguyslifts.com
