That should be a fun one to find seeings it a 2yr only motor with the oval port heads and only came in the legacy

I thought 03/04 had EGR, but normal exhaust ports? Then in 05 with the 4th gen they did oval ports. Either way, just re-use the heads..

03-04 were oval port heads with EGR 05 was the first variable cam motors

Variable cam was introduced in 06 in the legacy/outback. 03/04 definitely has dual exhaust ports, I've worked on those...

Ok God of subaru's and my bad it's 04 and 05 that have the oval port heads cause its a early Pzev 2.5
