2006 LGT

keep me informed.... and the motor might make a nice engine build project. good luck!
Will do.

If I keep it, the motor will sit on a shiny stand in the garage, floodlit, with angels singing from the heavens, looking down.

One day it'll be needed, I'm sure.

Maniac, I've got a nice set of LGT winter mats I grabbed, if you don't have the dee-luxe oem set, buy me a couple of drinks at the next meet & they're yours, my friend.

I've got a mint, summer set, tan, as well.

Those pics are a good advertisement for the LGTs safety, no doubt about it.

Pictures of the car are a testemant to these cars safety, but now I want to see a picture of the frost heave that caused this. That thing must be a monster.

I've driven the route 2x, and am puzzled.

The accident site is unclear, I need her to ride it with me and show me.

I got absolutely NO help from any "report", I had to find the car, myself.

My lady's got Talent, no doubt about it.

If the next meet is in Lewiston I`ll see you there and we`ll check them out in my car

lucky she wasn't pedaling a Miata at that moment!

crashworthiness of current cars is impressive...my ex got creamed in our brand new Tacoma, after 1970s GMC tore the Taco's left front corner clean off...she and the yellow Lab were fine, except they both wanted to bite the GMC driver's head off afterwards.

DrtWgn looked like it was in a pretty nasty crash. I guess Jackson Racing did pretty much rebuild half the car.

LGT is about 1.5X as larger than a competitive rally car.

RallyX maybe. well you can do that in anything.

Wow what a crash! Very good to hear your wife walked away from that. I see that you are looking to see what happens with the insurance and stuff, but are you looking to sell the whole car or are you parting it out? If so, are the headlights and grill OK? I would be interested in them. Also the dash/glove box with the vents (you know what I mean?) Let me know thanks!

Wow! That thing held up like a champ!

I'd be interested in the head unit if you strip it. Mine has a huge scratch. Any chance of an AUX jack?

Did she have the cubby or the NAV unit? Mmmm....NAV....

No AUX, sorry.

I buy my own GPS', $2k for oem is a laff, when a Tom Tom is $125.

I'll find out the cost to retain it tomorrow, I hope it's not too much money, I really want the EJ25!

If you do part it out, I could make use of the door pulls (handles) on both front doors and the window switches from the driver's door. Too bad the leather boot on the e-brake handle is tan - I need a black one (small tear on ours).

Glad to hear everyone is OK though. That looks like it was a nasty ride.

Tim

All right-ey, then.

I bought the LGT corpse.

I'm keeping the 36K, pristine EJ25, and I traded the wheels/tires for the "stripping" of the shell.

That leaves these 2006 LGT parts, that I can think of:

Complete leather interior- tan, door cards, power seats, etc.

Steering wheel with complete airbag assembly

Pass. side airbags

6 CD Changer, complete

Complete transmission, automatic with "Sport" mode

ECU

Exhaust

LGT suspension, complete

Brake system, complete

Passenger side F/R doors

Passenger side Fr. fender

Hood/grille

OEM Fog lights

HIDs (may keep)

Odds n' Ends

The car was put on its side,so there wasn't much in the way of frontal impact, just a crushed driver's side.

I'll entertain any reasonable offers for the parts, but I really want to get rid of "complete" sets, like the whole leather interior, at a time.

When we're done stripping the car, you guys can stop by and "strip it yourself" of any little odds and ends, gratis.
