89 4WD GL sedan

It is not inspected currently, but would really need nothing to inspect. Maybe pretty up a couple of the little rust spots. And it does need rear wheel bearings, but they probably wouldn't say a thing about them because they aren't loose.

is this inspected/ inspectable? if not what would it need?

Hahaha did you explain that a sports car is a lot of money!!!!!!, and the Legacy could be made into something more sporty if she desired!! I bet her dad would think it was cool!! I told him a little about it a while back.

Sooooo. I showed this to my girlfriend. She isn't overly impressed.... She asked why I can't just lift my legacy like this and get a nice sports car instead....

I don't care what she thinks about it, I still want it just as much. haha. And she even said "My dad would think this is really cool, which annoys me even more"

Somewhere around 150-160k. Not exactly sure, the speedometer doesn't work because of something with the conversion from auto to standard, but never bothered me. Runs great. Has the EA81 i it, with new plugs and wires. And it's fuel injected. I started it up a few days ago. It does need a starter, but guess what?!?! I have one!! easy 10 minute change, I just haven't done it yet.

so whats the mileage? does she run alright? whens the last time she ran? etc.. etc..

Haha Awesome!!!!

This will be a nice addition to a driveway that already has a 2008 OBW, 1999 OBW, my 1996 legacy, and a chevy truck. haha

OOOHH! fun! Took my dad for a drive down fogler rd, he thinks it is just absolutely awesome. Had a little bit of a hard time opening the hood!

(in my defense the handle is broken off the release....).

Played with 4WD low in my driveway, it's so awesome!

The starter did give me crap though, started right up when I took my dad out, and started up once more. Then wouldn't start a 3rd time, but I didn't try much. :/ Since the soleniod is clicking it's probably the contacts. The guy in Waldoboro who did my alt says he fixes the contacts on subaru starters, so if it keeps acting up I'll just take it there. I don't want to get stuck somewhere with it.

But in all, AWESOME AWESOME!!!! thanks so much!

Great to hear!!! Sucks about the starter, but even if it does screw up, just give it a few taps with a hammer, or just keep turning the key really fast, eventually it will catch, it won't leave you stranded!

But it's good to hear that your parents like it too!! Oh yeah, it is low on gas. I was gonna put some gas in it, but I didn't want to drive it into town with it not being legal. Have fun with it!! And feel free to ask for help or parts whenever you need to!!
