So those of you who know me know that I've had a car for a year, and it's time to find something new.
The car: 1993 Subaru Impreza hatchback. 202K miles. Standard transmission.
The good:
Car was owned for much of it's life by a responsible driver. Dealership maintenance records are listed out to 100K in the service book. Since I have owned the car I have used synthetic motor oil. I have put 20K on it in the last year with no mechanical problems.
The car has the following modifications:
KYB AGX struts
Aftermarket lowering springs (I forget the brand, came from gabe)
JDM STi subaru 4 pots (same as 06-07 STi)
New cross drilled rotors
New Hawk HPS pads
White line end FSB end links
RS front seats
RS/WRX exaust (parts from both, most relatively new and unrusted)
5 spoke "Gold" subaru wheels (currant painted grey) 16"
extra set of rims for subaru 4 pots 15" white in color. one bent, still good for autocross/rallycross
Engine does not leak anything runs smothly, and has been my daily driver.
Car has cruse control and working AC (belt is currantly off AC) and power windows
Aftermarket CD player (Alpine) 6-9" rear speakers and small removable speaker box in rear for second set of speakers (no fronts)
black 2.5 RS hood
The bad:
Usual fender well rot on rear quorter pannals. One side is patched reasinably well, the other side needs maintence. Underside of car is pretty sollid. Lower rocker pannels are showing surface rust but are still sollid. needs prefentitive work to keep from being a problem.
expired inspection sticker (I live in PA currantly, can't get back to maine to get it inspected)
All in all it is a solid little car. I am selling it to add to my "newer car fund" as I am getting married in 6 months, and the Mrs wants something with lower miles, and doesn't appreciate the sport suspention as much as I do (so next time I'll just get a PSS9 so it can be comfy and sporty ;-).
Asking price: $2000 OBRO
I'm willing to negotiate. Lower miles stock cars...rims that will fit an 04 STi (my next car will have brembo's someday
. Have to be WRX/impreza bolt pattern though. Nice car interiors. I like parts, but it has to be something I can use on my next car. My e-mail is [email protected] let me know if your interested and what you got! (I also have some money saved if someone is looking to do a trade and has something newer with lower miles).
Have a great June!
