Advice on All Seasons

Hankooks are good tires. I'm pretty sure a lot of us run those but also have a different set of snow tires. They truly make the difference.

decent enough all-round tires, but dedicated snows will be mucho bettAr come winter. depends on how much driving you do in snow country, and how much you absolutley have to drive when it's snowing. if you live in southern ME and aren't a powder-hound skier/boarder or snow-cookie freak, the "all-ski-sons" will probly be OK.

but good snows totally transform a WRX. they are ok snow cars with all-seasons, and absolute tanks with good sharp snows.

Don't bother with the "three season" tires. Buy these:

for about $300 with rebate and shipped to S. Maine.

and buy these. Run them for one winter and buy new next season.

Im glad my winter tire psa thread made an impact on some people on here. If all seasons are all you can afford the kooks are fine, but if you can afford a wrx you should really think about a second set of rims and dedicated snows. They will make you look forward to snow storms.
