Advice on tires....

Hey everyone.

The time has come to buy tires for myself and my wife.

I need summer tires for all eight sixteen inch rims.

I've been looking at these - Hankook Ventus HRII H405

Is this a good move?

Has anyone else had these tires?

My RS came from previous owner with 205/55-16 Hankook Ventus something-or-others, not exactly sure about model. They were quiet on the road and reasonably grippy. Took em off to mount the fattie 225/50-16 Dunlop Star Specs am now running. In a weak moment I gave the Hankooks away, a dumb move cuz the Star Specs are getting pretty bald and I sure could use some fresh rubber now.

Believe it or not, but those HR-II were installed on our S2000 when we bought it. I replaced them with Hankook RS_2 once I burned the tread off them because of A/X Hoonage. They were a "OK" tire for the S2K, but for a Subie they will work great. I've own many Hankooks before and am never been disappointed. They are a fine made Korean tyre. IMHO.
