anyone manage to melt a lens?

Somehow, the lens in front of the projector on my drivers side had some stress cracks and a touch of message. Anyone had this happen?

The lens of the head light or lens of the projector. Are they aftermarket?

Headlight, and they are factory

I've seen this happen, but mainly with headlights that have HIDs in them. The stress is caused by excess heat. I've seen it on a set of retroftted 05 WRX headlights, but I've also seen it on a set of OEM, non-HID headlights Legacy headlights. Sometimes too much heat from a buffer can also cause the headlight lens to crack.

Not much you can do but replace the headlight.
